Benedict Hollerbach joins FC Union Berlin
Young German striker makes move from 1. FC Kaiserslautern
Hollerbach has signed a four-year contract with the Bundesliga club
FC Union Berlin have signed Benedict Hollerbach from 1. FC Kaiserslautern on a four-year contract.
The 22-year-old striker has been in impressive form for Kaiserslautern this season, scoring 12 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions.
Hollerbach is a product of the Kaiserslautern youth system and made his first-team debut in 2019.
He has represented Germany at youth level and was part of the squad that won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2019.
Hollerbach is expected to provide competition for Sheraldo Becker and Jordan Siebatcheu in Union Berlin's attack.
He is the second signing Union Berlin have made this summer, following the arrival of goalkeeper Frederik Rønnow from Eintracht Frankfurt.
