The Burrowers is a 2008 Western horror film written and directed by J.T. Petty. The film is based on an original short film, Blood Red Earth, also directed by Petty. The film stars Clancy Brown, David Busse, Harley Coriz, and Jocelin Donahue.
Plot
In the Wild West, a rescue party sets out to find a family of settlers that has mysteriously disappeared. After an Indian attack in the woods, the survivors discover that the Sioux are not responsible for the slaughters, but actually a pack of carnivorous creatures that live underground.
