The San Siro Stadium, also known as the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, is a football stadium located in the San Siro district of Milan, Italy. It is the home stadium of both A.C. Milan and Inter Milan. The stadium has hosted numerous major football matches, including the 1965 European Cup final, the 1970 FIFA World Cup final, and the 1990 FIFA World Cup final.

Giuseppe Meazza: A Legend Remembered

The stadium was originally named the Stadio San Siro when it was built in 1926. In 1980, the stadium was renamed the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after the legendary Italian footballer who played for both A.C. Milan and Inter Milan. Meazza was one of the greatest players of his generation, and he helped both clubs win numerous titles.

A Home for Two Giants

The San Siro Stadium is a fitting home for two of the most successful clubs in Italian football. A.C. Milan has won 19 Serie A titles, while Inter Milan has won 18 Serie A titles.
