Dortmund Legend to Play Final Game on Saturday

Toni Kroos Also Set to Retire After Season

Marco Reus, one of the most iconic players in Borussia Dortmund's history, will bid farewell to the club on Saturday, June 1, 2024. The 34-year-old has been with Dortmund since 2012, and has made over 350 appearances for the club. He has won two Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, and one DFL-Supercup with Dortmund.

Reus's final game will be against Real Madrid in the Champions League final. It will be a fitting end to a remarkable career for Reus, who has been one of the most consistent and dangerous attacking players in Europe for many years.

Reus is not the only player who will be saying goodbye to Dortmund this summer. Toni Kroos, another legendary player, will also be retiring from club football. Kroos has been with Dortmund since 2006, and has made over 300 appearances for the club. He has won two Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, and one DFL-Supercup with Dortmund.

The departures of Reus and Kroos will mark the end of an era for Borussia Dortmund. Both players have been key members of the team for many years, and they will be sorely missed.
