The Edmonton Oilers kept their Stanley Cup Finals hopes alive with a 5-3 victory over the Florida Panthers in Game 5 on Thursday night in Sunrise, Fla.
Connor McDavid led the way for the Oilers with a goal and two assists, while Leon Draisaitl and Evan Bouchard each had a goal and an assist. Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also scored for Edmonton.
The Oilers will now host the Panthers in Game 6 on Saturday night at Rogers Place. Game 7, if necessary, will be played in Edmonton on Monday night.
