Qualifying Thriller at Hungaroring
In a thrilling qualifying session at the Hungaroring, Lando Norris emerged victorious, claiming the pole position for the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix. The McLaren driver put in a stunning performance, edging out fellow Briton George Russell by a mere 0.023 seconds.
Russell, who had been in contention for pole throughout the session, had to settle for second place in his Mercedes. However, the youngster still managed to outpace seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who finished third in the other Mercedes.
Esteban Ocon of Alpine secured fourth place, ahead of Carlos Sainz in the Ferrari and Sergio Perez in the Red Bull. Fernando Alonso impressed by qualifying seventh for Aston Martin, while Kevin Magnussen grabbed eighth for Haas.
Zhou Guanyu continued his impressive season by claiming ninth place for Alfa Romeo, while Alex Albon rounded out the top 10 for Williams. The Hungarian Grand Prix is set to take place on Sunday, July 23rd, and promises to be another thrilling race in this unpredictable Formula 1 season.
