Golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics

The biggest names in golf will represent their countries at the 2024 Olympics.

The 2024 Olympics in Paris will feature men's and women's golf once again after the sport was added in 2016. Now with the 2024 Summer Olympics golf field locked in, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times and has projected the full results.

According to the simulation, Scottie Scheffler of the US is the favorite to win the gold medal. Scheffler, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the world, is also the top-ranked golfer in the 2024 Summer Olympics golf odds at +300.

Other contenders for the gold medal include Jon Rahm of Spain (+400), Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland (+500), and Justin Thomas of the US (+600).

The Olympic men's golf competition begins Thursday at Le Golf National in Paris.
