Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan Are Back for Jumanji: The Next Level

The sequel to the 2017 hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is set to hit theaters on December 13, 2019.

The film will see the return of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan as the avatars Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Franklin "Moose" Finbar, Professor Sheldon "Shelly" Oberon, and Ruby Roundhouse, respectively.

The film also stars Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, and Danny Glover. The film will be directed by Jake Kasdan, who also directed the first film.

The sequel will follow the four friends as they return to the Jumanji video game world to rescue one of their own. The film will also introduce new characters and new challenges for the group to overcome.
